Hello!

Welcome to my website, dedicated to the history of Boys Water Polo in the CIF-Southern Section.

Everything you need to know about my research can be found in the Introduction to my book “A Narrative History,” downloadable as a PDF from the Documents page. I originally published the book in August 2021, and the Revised Third Edition (March 2024) is now available. The PDF is free, and if you would like to order a hardback or softback print edition, please contact me.

Downloadable as well are PDFs of statistical records of all seven CIF-SS division playoff tournaments. I have also included a PDF on CIF-SDS and CIF-LACS, and one on the Masters/SoCal Championships. Please go to the Documents page and you will find them all there.

A word about that picture on the home page of my site. It’s from the 1912 Long Beach Poly yearbook. On the left is the swimming team and on the right is the Water Polo team – the very first CIF-SS champions. It’s so cool, don’t you think?
